Three-Wheeled Handcycle at Tehvandi
A three-wheeled handcycle is available for use at Tehvandi Sports Center – a specialized parasport equipment that enables active movement for people for whom conventional ways of moving may not be suitable.
The handcycle is equipped with an electric assist motor ⚡, which makes movement easier on climbs and more demanding sections.

Guidelines for Borrowing Parasport Equipment
Prior arrangement
Please always contact us in advance before arriving at the sports center to check availability. This is especially important if you wish to use the equipment outside working hours or on weekends, so that our staff can prepare, adjust, and check the equipment’s readiness and condition.
Nature of rental
You are renting equipment, not a service – the sports center does not provide a coach or instructor.
First time and safety
We recommend coming with a companion or support person for your first time, especially if you are unsure about using the equipment independently. Being with someone familiar will help you feel safer and more comfortable.
Use of equipment
The center may provide a brief introduction, but independent use of the equipment is essential.
Responsibility and safety
The user is responsible for handling the equipment with care and for any damage caused during use.
Always use required safety equipment (e.g., helmet) and follow general safety rules.
Rental duration and return
The rental duration and price are determined by the sports center.
Please return the equipment in the same condition as received and inform the center of any damage upon return.
Additional recommendations
If you need additional assistance, bring a coach, instructor, or companion.
Plan your activity with enough time to avoid rushing and potential injuries.

- Contact us and inform us of your interest
- Agree on a suitable time and location (Tehvandi or Kääriku)
- Come and use the handcycle

Up to 3 hours – €5
Full day (up to 24h) – €15

Using the handcycle requires prior arrangement. This allows us to:
- prepare the equipment for use
- check its technical condition
- provide necessary instructions
- ensure availability at your preferred time
Advance notice is especially important outside working hours and on weekends.
Location
The handcycle is located at Tehvandi Sports Center but can also be used at Kääriku Sports Center by prior arrangement.
