Cross-country ski trails at the Tehvandi Sports Center in Otepää are prepared during the winter season when snow and weather conditions are suitable. Trails are created either when there is sufficient natural snowfall or when consistent sub-zero temperatures make artificial snow production possible. When conditions allow, up to 5 km of illuminated ski tracks are opened for both classic and freestyle skiing.
The trails feature challenging terrain with steep climbs and technically demanding descents, making them most suitable for experienced skiers. All trails are one-way and must be used in the designated skiing direction.
The artificial snow-covered ski trail is lit daily until 8:00 PM, when the ski trails are officially open, lighting is extended until 9:00 PM. Changing and shower facilities are available in the Tehvand Stadium building or at the Tehvand Hotel.
