The Tehvandi Sports Centre features two biathlon shooting ranges:
The Tehvandi Biathlon Stadium has an IBU A licensed, floodlit shooting range for competitions and training with 30 shooting places, including a stadium, tunnel, service building, and grandstand with 1300 seats. The shooting range is equipped with Kurvinen OY’s electronic marker management system.
At Ansomägi, there is a non-floodlit training shooting range with 17 shooting lanes, located 800 meters from the Tehvandi Biathlon stadium.
Both shooting ranges are intended exclusively for cross-country skiing training and only in the presence of the coaches and/or instructors responsible for the shooting.
The shooting ranges are connected to the cross-country skiing and running tracks and, in winter, to the ski tracks.
